Fight Fear With Faith

This is being re-posted AGAIN for those in the Comments Section (I think it may have been a new visitor so if that's the case I understand they may not have seen this before until now) who wrote about their concern that I am spreading a spirit of fear amongst Christians. They are worried that I was promoting an anti-Christian lifestyle in a sense to others especially those weak in their faith.

I can see how new visitors to this ministry might feel that way. They don't have in their minds all the times I wrote about how Christians should NEVER be ruled by fear because it's not fruit of the Spirit. They also don't have a frame of reference to those times I've consistently said I fear no man, or those who can hurt my body, but only the One who has power over my soul.

Please remember that just because I write about these things doesn't mean I'm "afraid" of them or "fearful" of them. I'm just trying to expose what I see as being prophetically significant. That's all. Matthew 10:16 is my guide.

In any event, given the nature and tone of a lot of what's shown up here in this space recently, I thought it would be best to ask everyone to re-read the commentary I wrote just a few short weeks ago to clear up any misunderstanding:

Fight Fear With Faith

There's also one other column I wrote awhile back on the same subject. It's worth a quick read too:

Finding Comfort Where Others Find Fear

May God bless you, and keep you in His grace, mercy, and peace.

Maybe you should just make this article a disclaimer on your site!! :)

I've begun wondering from some of the comments being made if maybe you should warn people if they aren't ready for some spiritual meat and aren't ready for some heavy doses of truth, perhaps this is not the site for them. On the ohter hand if they are honestly seeking discernment and wisdom, YHWH will reward their efforts.

You must continue to pursue and reveal your observations. The ministry that the Lord has given you is way beyond the milk of the Word.

It would be a detriment to those of us like you who are beyond the third grade in bible study. It's too time consuming for you to continue to explain yourself when in reality, you've already done so. I suggest that those who "fear" the coming things might be better served to obtaining more biblical knowledge first, then tackle these "meatier" topics that you deal with. To the "babes"--don't slow us down, you will catch up in due time.

Just received an alert from space weather.com about a meteor shower coming early Sunday morning June 7.
The Arietids are the strongest daylight shower of this year. Wouldn't it be just like to Lord to annouce something? Just a thought. Keep looking up.

And I add my third testimony that JRed is teaching the Word of God -that the spirit of prophecy brings glory to the Lord.

Even in your law it has been written that the testimony of two men is true. John 8:17

Then I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do that; I am a fellow servant of yours and your brethren who hold the testimony of Jesus; worship God. For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Revelation 19:10

* note to JW's who worship the archangel Micheal as Jesus/Yeshua as do 7th Day Adventists-Do Not worship angels!

* note to Brian McLaren(wolf) -prophecy is Yahweh's/God's Word- yes, Revelation included!

JRed, in the military we pulled watch duty night after night in every condition imaginable. Life and death decisions were made every night. The vast majority of nights were eventless, almost boring beyond belief, but once you've seen that events can actually happen it reminds you of why you try to remain vigilant. If I had a banana for every night of sleepless, aching, boring watching and waiting, I'd have a bunch for sure. Staying on alert saved my skin a time or two. We would always get reports of possible "events"....with no results but I knew that sooner or later there would be one. My warning to people is to NOT let possible dates or reports of possible action lull you into a false sense of wasting their time. No one who stays prepared, regrets it, but everyone who was caught unprepared regreted.

Prophecy should not be looked at with fear. Neither should the coming of our Lord. The Lord will always be there for those who love Him, even if we are destined to glorify him through our own persecution. "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." James 4:14
